3. Close your eyes and pretend it’s Miami! Grab a swimsuit, blanket, cooler, and a great novel. Head over to Oak Street Beach and soak in the sun while surrounding yourself in one of the best views of Chicago.

4. Bask in the glow one last time! Saturday is the last day of Navy Pier’s season long fireworks series. Watch it from the Museum Campus for an extra romantic moment. SWOON!

5. Get some DIY inspiration! Hit up Remix Chicago, the art show features re-designed art made from recycled and found materials. Live music by local bands.

6. It’s like ‘Body Worlds’ – but with cows and stuff! Check out the Museum of Science and Industry’s exhibit “Animal Inside Out: A Body Worlds Production”, ending this Monday.

7. Party with the hogs! Harley-Davidson is hosting a mega-bash for its 110th Anniversary – and staking claim to the entire city of Milwaukee. Four full days of Harleys, music, beer, and brats. Get you some!

8. Have one last fling! Naperville’s annual “Last Fling” festival is always a G-rated blast. Headlining act: Goo Goo Dolls (who, btw, were just at Ravina with Matchbox Twenty last month). Oh, and it has carnival rides! BONUS!
