Last Wednesday, up-and-coming British R&B singer Jacob Banks took over Lincoln Hall (2424 N Lincoln Ave) for Night 22 of Red Bull’s 30 Days in Chicago. Born in Nigeria, Jacob moved to Birmingham, England at age 13. Banks introduced himself to the world with his debut EP The Monologue, which earned him supporting slots on tours with Emeli Sandé, Sam Smith, and Alicia Keys.
