Adults Night Out at Lincoln Park Zoo

When: Thursday, June 8th 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Where: Lincoln Park Zoo, 2001 North Clark Street, Chicago IL 60614
Why: Ever wondered what it would be like to explore Lincoln Park Zoo after the gates close? Here’s your chance! Leave the kids at home and head to the zoo for Adults Night Out. Guests will enjoy unique animal chats, educational entertainment, and cash bars throughout the zoo at this after-hours event. No kids. No crowds. Strolling among exhibits with a beer or glass of wine in hand. Sound fun? Join us!

Chicago Blues Festival

When: Friday – Saturday, June 9th – 11th; 11 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Where: 201 E. Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601

Why: The Chicago Blues Festival is the largest free blues festival in the world and remains the largest of Chicago’s Music Festivals. During three days on five stages, more than 500,000 blues fans prove that Chicago is the “Blues Capital of the World.” This year’s got something for everyone; Che “Rhymefest” Smith, Gary Clark Jr., Ronnie Baker Brooks, William Bell, and more!

Ribfest 2017

When: Friday, June 9th, 5-10 p.m.; Saturday, June 10th , Noon – 10 p.m.; Sunday, June 11th, Noon – 10 p.m.

Where: Lincoln Avenue from Irving Park to Berteau (4000 N to 4165 N)

Why: Welcome back for the 19th year of kickin’ ribs and other tasty delights! A mix of 13 rib restaurants includes some that many have come to love as having the best ribs over the years. Newcomers will represent, as well. And speaking of best ribs, don’t forget to cast your for vote for the “People’s Choice.”

Pilsen Food Truck Social

When: Saturday and Sunday, June 10th and 11th ; 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Where: 18th Street at Allport in Chicago’s Pilsen Neighborhood

Why: The Pilsen Food Truck Social rolls back into Chicago’s Lower West Side for another delicious weekend of mobile eats and live beats!  As its eponymous name suggests, food trucks are again the centerpiece of the event.  Over 25 Illinois Food Truck Owner Association affiliated trucks will congregate in the heart of Pilsen on 18th Street at Allport.

The $20 Sampler Ticket will allow fest-goers to stroll around and try SIX (6) sample-sized portions from the food trucks and restaurants onsite, and/or sample beer varieties by Revolution Brewing (if 21+ with picture ID).  All regular sized food and beverages will also be available for individual cash purchase. Click the Buy Now button above to pre-purchase the Sampler Ticket (includes processing fee). Pre-purchased Sampler Tickets will be available for pick up at the Sampler Ticket tent (on the southwest corner of 18th & Allport) either Saturday or Sunday June 10th or 11th between 11am and 9pm (please bring picture ID).
