Where: Hampton Inn Chicago Downtown, 68 E. Wacker Place, Chicago IL 60601

Why: Get ready to paint the town red at the Hampton Inn Chicago Downtown/N Loop/Michigan Ave’s Wine & Canvas night on Wednesday, May 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment and drink specials at the historic Chicago Motor Club building at 68 E. Wacker Place, where you will get the chance to paint the stunning Chicago Waterfront.

Tickets to this event are $35 per person and may be purchased online at Wine & Canvas! Drink specials include $2 Miller Lite drafts, $3 well cocktails and $5 wines from 5 – 9 p.m.

RAW:CHICAGO PRESENTS TREND

When: Wednesday, May 18th

Why: Every other month, RAW Directors in cities across the world hand-pick and spotlight local artistic talent in visual art, fashion design, film,music, performance art, hair & makeup artistry, and photography through local eclectic RAW events. With artists from all genres in each showcase, RAW events come together to form an amazing one-night circus of creativity.

What can you expect when attending a RAW Showcase? You’ll experience an independent film screening (usually a short, webisode or music video), a pop-up gallery featuring several independent visual artists and photographers, fashion shows from up-and-coming local designers, live musical performances, vendor booths featuring local artisans and accessories designers, and live performance art. You’ll get a little taste of everything. Combine all this creativity with drinks, fun, and good company!

 4TH ANNUAL FUSIONFEST

When: Thursday, May 19th

2016 SUMMER BALL DREAM BIG!

Why: Since the close of the Second World War, the Woman’s Board of Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago has proven to be a powerful force in Chicago’s philanthropic community. The members of the Woman’s Board are strongly committed to the mission of BGCC, funding programs across all 21 Chicago area Clubs. The annual Summer Ball gala, the organizations largest fundraising event, raised more than $1.4 million in 2015.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago encourages Club Members to discover a new world of opportunity through their Club. The 2016 Summer Ball Gala will celebrate the aspirations of our Club youth with “Dream BIG!”
