Event Calendar: One of a Kind Show December 4th – 7th

If any of your coins survived Black Friday, prepare to surrender them this weekend at the One of a Kind Show. The show features over 600 hand selected creators from across North America. All are expert artisans, inventors, and designers. Live music, demonstrations, fashion shows, and gourmet eats swell this truly unique shopping experience to a whimsical event full of inspiration.

My buyer’s remorse caught amnesia. What tends to happen each year, I spend more than planned but never regret it, even weeks later. Brilliant bibelots in the form of accessories, fashion, and jewelry are the pieces treasured forever and worn often, so it’s worth the price paid. Home decor items teeter from kitsch to full on posh. Both styles are more than welcome in our house. Price points this weekend will range from $10-$10,000.

A Note from the Show’s Creators:

We look forward to welcoming you to the 14th annual One of a Kind Show opening tomorrow, Thursday, December 4, at 11am. We wanted to send you a few tips for navigating The Merchandise Mart and getting you up to the show floor asap! A Coat Check service is available on the first floor of The Merchandise Mart near the Wells Street entrance. An additional Coat Check service is located on the show floor on 7. The Ticket Box Office/Will Call is located near the North lobby on the first floor of The Merchandise Mart. There are 4 elevator entrances from the first floor of The Merchandise Mart to the show floor on 7. These entrances will be marked with a large overhead pink sign. Please be sure to bring and present your ticket to the attendant at the elevator entrance. Your ticket will provide you unlimited access to the show throughout the 4 days. P.S. Wear comfortable shoes and enjoy! Show Hours Thursday, 11am-8pm Friday, 11am-8pm Saturday, 10am-8pm Sunday, 10am-5pm
