On Wednesdays, we sweat.

Spotted those shipping containers on Randolph Street? Here we explain what that’s all about.

Equinox has launched a schedule of a-la-carte fitness classes at the new Box Shops by Related (725 West Randolph) in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Equinox will occupy one of six refurbished shipping containers in the pop-up development on Saturdays and Sundays to offer a selection of their popular fitness classes.

Hosted by some of Equinox’s top fitness experts, the schedule features classes such as Power Yoga, MetCon3, and Stacked!. The gym will additionally host health-focused events including wellness panels, nutrition seminars, community social events, and more.

“This is an innovative project that we are thrilled to be a part of,” says Colin Yording, Complex Manager for Equinox. “Offering our signature fitness classes and additional wellness programming at the pop-up shop is the perfect way for us to introduce the West Loop area to our commitment to self-care and showcase our signature classes in a unique environment.”

For the first time, Equinox will provide these offerings a la carte at this exclusive location, making classes open to everyone, including non-members.

Classes and events will be $25 for non-members and are free for Equinox Chicago members.

Hours of operation for the pop-up are Wednesday through Friday, 10am-7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am – 5 pm.
