CHICAGO BLACK RESTAURANT WEEK
When: Through February 13th
Where: Various locations throughout Chicagoland
Why: First, this is the event’s first year. Chicago Black Restaurant Week was designed to create a platform for African American Owned Eateries (in the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs) to be recognized and patronized. There are quite a few hidden gems. Get to know just who they are!

Daley at Thalia Hall
When: Thursday, February 11th at 7 p.m.
Where: 1807 S. Allport St, Chicago, IL 60608
Why: Behind the signature black frames and hair, lies honesty and truth of voice increasingly rare in today’s musical landscape – it is for this reason Daley has continued to rise on his journey to becoming budding future-soul prodigy.
