“I long, as does every human being, to be at home wherever I find myself.” – Maya Angelou

I’m sure that when the great Maya Angelou expressed those words, an airport terminal was not her inspiration. Not even if your name is Mehran Karimi Nasseri would you want to find your home in terminal “1”. And when you are optimistically looking forward to your own bed, and your own bathroom, after a long week of borrowed beds and showers, the last place you want to find yourself is on an airport bench for the night.

Guess where I am right now.

After a week of borough hopping in NYC, the weather said “nope” to my plans of heading home and LGA is playing the gracious host. Stay tuned for a new post here on Chicagoings.com tomorrow morning. In the meantime, here are a few shots from the last week.

Nice shots. How was the cronut?

    • Considering we waited in line for two hours to try one, it was amazing! 😄
