The city is super excited for the James Beard Awards, returning to Chicago for the second year in a row Monday, May 2, 2016. In anticipation of the official gala, Modern Luxury spearheaded a foodie fest last week that included some of Chicago’s top chefs and influencers. Hosted at Venue One in the West Loop, rows of inspired dish after dish, cocktails, music, and live art installments set an impressive scene.
This event was open to the public, but tickets sold like hot cakes. If you weren’t there, here’s what you missed from the James Beard Eats Week Sneak Peek Soiree — in almost 30 photos.
