Where: Various locations throughout Chicagoland
Why: First, this is the event’s first year. Chicago Black Restaurant Week was designed to create a platform for African American Owned Eateries (in the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs) to be recognized and patronized. There are quite a few hidden gems. Get to know just who they are!

North Face Mountain Athletics Training

Where: Millennium Monument
Why: Be a part of free Mountain Athletics training sessions held every Thursday in Chicago. Each session will be led by two The North Face trainers who will take you through workouts aimed to prepare you to achieve your outdoor goal, whether it’s finishing an Endurance Challenge, becoming a stronger skier, or summiting a 14er.
