Knowing that, I’ll still say that if you took the upbeat sound of Børns, the vocal strength of Hayley Williams, and the storytelling styles of Broods you’d come close to the whole of MisterWives. The sometimes trio from NYC played for a sold out house at the Vic last Friday.
I love how their affection for trap beats bleeds into their unique sound and onstage movements. The result is a true depiction of both teenage angst and grownup confidence.
