{What to Wear in Chicago} Winter Blues

By  |

Alternate title: It don’t mean a thing if it doesn’t feel like spring.

What to Wear in Chicago this Week

It’s cold. It’s bitterly cold in Chicago, actually. It’s like we broke up with winter and he won’t leave or give any of our stuff back. Technically, though, it’s almost spring. Technically.

While preparing for the Oscar’s viewing party hosted by I|O Godfrey last Sunday, I had a thought. What if we ignore winter? Wear little silk dresses and shorts, open toe sandals and flip flops. Will winter get the hint and finally leave?

I’m still testing this theory. Aside from the disapproving stares and the flulike symptoms I’m currently nursing, I’d say it’s going well.
