Mark your calendar! Next Wednesday, Thalia Hall is hosting the Chicago Made music showcase, a concert event commissioned by the Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events, Choose Chicago, and World Business Chicago. Its purpose is to highlight the city as a key player in the future of popular music and culture. The first showcase was held last March in Austin, Texas. This will be the first here in Chicago so the turnout should be amazing.

The event is free for those who RSVP online - that’s right, it costs NOTHING.

Four stellar local acts will hit the stage. Chicagoings’ favorite Paper Thick Walls will be there. For a reminder of what they’re all about, check out our review of the band here.
