Another One Bites the Dust: Edith Hart is Saying Farewell!

You guys know we’re in love with Bucktown boutique Edith Hart. For years we’ve kept you up to date on their many flash sales and trunk shows. Unfortunately, this may be our final post about the chic shop. Last Saturday, we received notice directly from the store that they were saying a big farewell and goodbye. This will be the latest in boutique closings around the city and it’s a huge bummer for everyone.

Distraught, we swung by Edith Hart to skim the racks and get a few answers on why the popular boutique is closing for good. Honestly, they weren’t very forthcoming with info. Our conversation went something like this:

“Are you guys just planning to move and reopen elsewhere?”

“No.”

“Is there another venture you’re launching that we should know about?”

“Not really.”

“Any particular reason why you’re closing for good?”

“Nope.”
