Taste of Iceland 2016

Hungry for a taste of Iceland, Chicago? Between Thursday, March 17 and Sunday, March 20, Chicagoans will have the opportunity to experience Iceland’s own cuisine and culture with Taste of Iceland in Chicago. Put on by Iceland Naturally immediately following the launch of Icelandair’s direct route to Chicago O’Hare International Airport on March 16.
Taste of Iceland takes place in restaurants, theaters, and music venues across Chicago throughout the four day festival. Over the course of the weekend long celebration, local Chicagoans will have the opportunity to experience authentic Icelandic cuisine at Cité Restaurant, enjoy the annual Icelandic-Chicago Reykjavik Calling concert at Martyrs’, attend an Icelandic film screening at Logan Theatre, and partake in an Icelandic literary discussion at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel. Taste of Iceland lends an experiential glimpse into the inspirational elements of Iceland culture to all of those in attendance, and offers an activity for the foodie, the concert-goer, the movie buff, and the bookworm in everyone.
