What: DreamHome

When: This installation will be available to the public beginning April 17th, 2015 through the end of the year. A special grand opening celebration will take place April 16th.

Where: Merchandise Mart, 1st floor (222 Merchandise Mart Plaza, Chicago)

Why you may want to attend: Looking for some home design inspiration? Step away from Pinterest and head over to Merchandise Mart for the 11th annual DreamHome installation. “Walk through six beautifully adorned rooms created by Chicago’s top interior designers and furnished exclusively by Design Center showrooms.” Steal some ideas and upgrade your nest like a pro.

This year’s featured designers include John Cannon & Cary Frank, Anne Coyle, Frank Fontana, David Kaufman & Tom Segal, Eva Quateman, Naperville native Marshall Erb.

I had the opportunity to visit the installation, take some shots, and speak with the designers. Despite working independently from one another, the interior experts have managed to create a congruent feel throughout the entire “home”. It’s definitely a must see.
