Happy Friday folks! As we all lament the end of summer by indulging in fall’s layers and textured trends, I thought who a better style icon for fall fashion in Chicago than Joseph Gordon-Levitt?

Guy or girl, who wouldn’t want to raid this guy’s closet?

I’m not sure when it happened but somewhere between a lame, albeit successful, sitcom about alien neighbors and a cult classic about love lost and coming of age in ‘summer’, JGL bloomed to GQ levels high enough to invoke the envy of even Ryan Gosling. Some may consider his aesthetic direction contrived, and that may be so, but there’s no denying he carries the ‘I listen to The Smiths, wear nonprescription, prescription glasses, and drive a Prius’ look well.

Even if you don’t live for gingham, oxfords, and suspenders, incorporating a little Levitt into your everyday look can be a very good thing.
