Roof at the Wit

It never fails. Monday arrives faster than expected after a weekend shorter than hoped. If commuter blues got ya down, hope has arrived in the form of two fantastic diversions:

Roof at the Wit

The Funniest Film You’ve Never Seen

No Johnny Depp here, but this satire on 80’s favorite undercover detective show, 21 Jump Street, is still making hearts throbs with Channing Tatum as the straight to Jonah Hill’s funny man. You may have missed this flick in theaters but it earned 85% on Rotten Tomato’s ‘Tomatometer’ – for reference, Anchorman only earned 66%. Watch it tonight on The Wit’s posh roof. With any of their perfect punches in hand, you’re sure to find it the funniest movie you’ve seen in a while.

Julia Child’s Restaurant Week

Did you even know a Julia Child’s Restaurant week existed? Me neither! Through the 31st of this month Julia The Great serves as culinary muse to dozens of local restaurants as they prepare prix fixe options featuring everything from bacon wrapped pork chops to duck confit and everything in between.
